The Vermont Thai Restaurant was located in Milton, VT and was in business for one year. Although the food was quite popular, a bedroom community like Milton, was a tough place for an Asian restaurant to survive (with the town becoming a virtual ghost town during the days). While it was open a few creepy occurrences took place.
The bell at the door where customers walked in would go off by itself, for no reason. The bathroom toilets would flush on their own and a couple times, the staff heard footsteps in the apartment above (while no one was living there). Creepiest of all was the sound of a whimpering girl in the corner near the walk-in cooler. When I walked in to see what it was, a shadow quickly passed by. It happened so fast, I wasn’t sure to believe it or not. The staff joked a lot about the building being haunted, so we decided to create a video around Halloween time, as a promotion.
