Creepy Thrills in Vermont

It's almost Halloween again and that means haunted hayrides, corn mazes and all that other fun stuff. About 12 years ago, I went on a haunted hayride in southern NH and it was fantastic. A couple years ago, I tried the Haunted Forest in Williston, but found it pretty tame and more for the kiddies.

Last weekend, we tried a haunted hayride in Ferrisburgh. My wife found it boring and it really was kind of basic. I realize that many of these events are farms trying to make money in these tough times, so what the heck.

Would be nice to see something really cool…and scary, like the events in NH though. They really go all out with the decorations and atmosphere in NH and it's not just a bunch of people jumping out and trying to scare you or performing little skits. If anyone knows of anything really good like that in VT, I'd love to know where.
